Democratic Gentrification

The Obama camp wants to buy out Sen. Clinton to end this race.  Lo and behold Democratic gentrification at work!!

Once they’ve got the low-income, Hispanic, elderly voters, women and children out of the way, they will declare the nomination fight over.  Sort of like removing the poor from the welfare rolls helps us to believe they no longer exist.* “Senator Clinton…who??  No, no, no, Sen. Obama is the nominee.  He said so himself on May 20th!”

Of course, not everyone has forgotten it’s Obama’s responsibility to unite the Party if he does clinch the nomination…somehow forced displacement of Clinton and her supporters just doesn’t seem like the most inclusive move, but maybe that’s just me…
