Clinton’s Real Opponent

I know we get confused and believe it’s Obama.  But it’s not, it’s McCain, and his continuation of eight years of The Travesty that is the Bush Oligarchy.

Yesterday, while my family - and maybe yours - was enjoying Easter together, the Iraqi U.S. death toll hit 4,000.  Between 80- and 90,000 Iraqis have died.  The next president will inherit the tragic enormity of this invasion, the anemic Gulf Coast, the defunct economy, and anachronistic polarization and inequality.  Clinton is the person to tackle these problems, with her intelligence, knowledge and skill.  Let’s not forget - she’s been the only one running against the Bush Administration, and the end of GOP rule. Everyone else has been running against her.

To borrow a line from the Obama playbook, if only he would just get out of her way.  She’s got one hell of a job waiting for her.

    Hillary is awesome! She’s the only one for the job. The only one who will stand up to Republicans.

    Obama, meanwhile, is recruiting Republicans “for a day” with no concern about the GE. He and his supporters are cowards who don’t care about the country. Obama and his male bloggers are too weak to fight Clinton. Too weak to handle any criticism. If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen/race. Obama is a lightweight.
