MI Re-Vote at Death’s Door: Thank Sen. Obama

I cannot reiterate enough that we should be outraged at this story.  One thing I’ve hated this campaign season is the she said/he said coverage of the campaigns, how too often Obama Love = Hillary Hate (and vice versa), and how all the hyperbolic shoutin’ over real bias issues have really distorted the legitimacy of these two campaigns.  But, these shenanigans by the Obama campaign, this will truly leave many people believing that he is not a legit. nominee, should he win it in August.  As a Clinton supporter who’s beyond sick of the accusations of illegitimacy thrown at her campaign, I can’t believe this may actually be a real issue in Obama’s possible nomination.  I just can’t get over the irony.  Seriously, I’m typing prostrate on the floor right now.  (Ok, now it’s my hyperbole.)

Anyway, since we’ve created a nice little Clinton blogger network here, I’m sure you’ve all seen all this coverage by now.  But if you haven’t READ THESE POSTS ABOUT HOW OBAMA IS BLOCKING THE MI RE-VOTE. ( I seriously hope Talk Left isn’t the only blog talking about this!)

What a f**&ing mess!!!

PS: Clinton supporters offer to pay for a re-vote.  ARGH!!!!!!!  MY HEAD IS EXPLODING!!!!

  1. Vote for Hillary at the CNN poll.

Larry King will read the results with Obama as the guest tonight. Sure would be sweet to have him read off a win for Hillary.

  2. He pulled some tactics against Alice Palmer in Chicago back in the 90’s that we need to revisit in terms of what he may be doing now to Hillary. I have a post on that

    http://vbonnaire.wordpress.com/2008/03/13/there-will-be-backlash-barack-obama-when-you-attempt-to-squelch-womens-voices/

that leads to the Chicago Tribune’s story…(the links)

we need a lot more backstory from Journalists in Chicago on him, in my opinion. Glad to see you made a blogging place that is Pro-Hillary Clinton. Yay!

  3. My darling cousin WOnder (who posts at my blog) has an awesome piece up about how not allowing the MI & FL votes to be counted is the equivalent of Bush/Gore 2000.

We’re democrats. We’re the everybody votes and everybody counts party. This. Is. Not. Acceptable.

  4. I hope she spanks him with it at the debate in three weeks.

Wait, what is this hope stuff? She’s totally going to spank him with it at the debate in three weeks. I just hope it works.

  5. I do love watching a good spanking.

  6. A spanking. Yikes!

  7. My favorite excuse is that now people who already voted in the Republican primary won’t be able to vote again in the Democratic primary. Yeah, last time I checked, voting twice was not allowed. You can vote in one primary or the other, not both, and nobody ever seemed to feel that ‘no double dipping’ was an injustice before.

  8. What would be really nice to see is picket signs here-on out to every Obama rally in states that haven’t voting DEMANDING that WI and FL be counted. The whole country needs to see the meme that any win by Obama will NOT be legitimate if 2 states are left out of the counting.
